RTI recognized for its collaborative program to provide government researchers with tools and domain expertise
SUNNYVALE, Calif.—May 25, 2011—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), The Global Leader in DDS, today announced that its RTI DDS Technology Network has won an Editor's Choice award from Military Embedded Systems. The magazine's technical editors — considered among the embedded and military industries' leading technologists — focus on the full design, development and sustainment lifecycle for embedded technology. Editor's Choice awards are given by the magazine's editors to recognize the best in embedded systems technology innovation.
Military Embedded Systems editors praise RTI for helping researchers "get up to speed quickly and inexpensively" through the DDS Technology Network's offering of comprehensive training, tools and software. Additionally, the program provides free licenses to RTI's Data Distribution Service (DDS) software, source code, phone and email support, community forums and access to a range of other mentoring and training materials.
"Recognition from Military Embedded Systems underscores our commitment to innovation and validates the value of this program in the research community," said David Barnett, vice president of products and markets at RTI. "The DDS Technology Network was created to drive collaboration with the government research community and to help members identify new ways to reduce the lifecycle cost of distributed systems. Combined with other RTI internal research initiatives, programs like DDS Technology Network help us partner with our customers to define the future of systems integration."
Membership fees for the DDS Technology Network range from US$2,500 to $4,500.
